About PriceSpy Australia

PriceSpy Australia might help you to find a better deal if you want to buy parts for your computer in Australia.

Launched in November 2004 PriceSpy Australia is a sister site to PriceSpy.co.nz, running since 2002.

Prices are all checked at least once a day. It's automatic. There are always errors and lots of omissions.

I only want to list honest, reliable retailers so let me know if I'm not.

Errors

If au.PriceSpy.biz is getting something wrong, like a price or GST, then please tell me so that I can fix it. It happens that ink for a printer is mistaken for the printer itself or that an optional extra for a component is taken for the component itself. Models can get mixed up as well. It can take a long time for me to notice these things.

• I will list and compare prices of any legitimate company selling new computer components online in Australia provided the price list is online and is not too challenging.
• Retailers should publish their address, phone number and ABN on their websites before asking to be listed.
• I don't charge for listing companies and products and comparing prices.
• The main factors affecting how many products each retailer has listed are the product naming and the number of prices per web page. I scan up to 40 pages from each website. That means that sites that only list a few items per page, and have a lot more that 40 pages of prices, don't get very many items into the comparison.
• I will scan more prices if the prices are low, less if they are high
